Agatha All Along Creator on Whether Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch Will Make a Cameo – Comic Book Movies and Superhero Movie News

Marvels Agatha all the time follows Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), a powerful witch who decides to travel the Witch Road to regain her magical abilities. Previously, she was trapped in Westview, New Jersey after her fight with her Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). Since Wanda is an integral part of Agatha's story, there is much speculation as to whether the Scarlet Witch will appear in Agatha All Along. Recently, Jac Schaefferwho created both WandaVision and Agatha All Along addressed the issue.

Jac Schaeffer is cautious about Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch cameo in Agatha All Along.

Showrunner Jac Schaeffer didn't reveal much when asked if Elizabeth Olsen would make a cameo as Scarlet Witch in Agatha All Along. Instead, she talked about how the series focused on Agatha's journey.

“There were a lot of considerations,” Schaeffer said. “That’s a great way to put it: her shadow. Agatha is not a character who will be in anyone's shadow. So this is definitely Agatha Harkness's show. However, since we're in the WandaVision corner of the universe, Wanda's legacy has a common thread in this narrative. But yes, it's about Agatha. It’s about her journey, it’s about the truth about her, and that’s our main focus on the show.”

It makes sense for Schaeffer to avoid a possible cameo appearance from Olsen. Finally, the character is believed to have died in the 2022 film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Olsen returned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for “What If…?” Season 2. However, the character she portrayed in two episodes of the series was a variant of the mainstream Scarlet Witch.

Earlier this month, Elizabeth Olsen appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on. and discussed what happened to her character. While she confirmed that Wanda was dead, she added that she would “beg to leave a window open” for her return because she “had so much fun making these movies.”
