Golfer paired with random single at Cabot's top golf course… and it turns out it's Adam Sandler | Golf news and tour information

A few lucky golfers made their way to one of Golf Digest's top courses and got not only great golf, but also the company of hall of famers.

“A friend of mine went to Cabot Cape Breton for a weekend trip and was matched with a single golfer.” The R/Golf post reads. “Adam Sandler was waiting for them on the tee! They said he was super cool and when they checked out at the end of the trip they found out he had covered their entire weekend bill.”

The post has since been deleted after it exploded online with nearly 1,400 upvotes and more than 80 comments. I always have to keep an eye out for positive news from Sandler. It keeps piling up.

Doing a round with Sandler would be a dream come true, and yet the comedy legend (and celebrity) went one step further and covered the entire bill. What a guy! Sandler may have a net worth in the hundreds of millions, but Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs don't come cheap and that certainly wasn't expected of him.

It seems like every Sandler anecdote is about him being a regular guy who just happens to be insanely famous and wealthy (and funny, of course). The man will show up at any basketball court and just jump on it. It looks like he's no different when he tees off.
