Garth Brooks is accused of rape after his own complaint

A longtime makeup artist and stylist to Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks claims Brooks brutally sexually assaulted her multiple times in a highly graphic lawsuit filed Thursday in Los Angeles.

“Brooks took advantage of what he viewed as an opportunity to introduce a female employee to a side of Brooks that he has hidden from the public,” says a lawsuit seeking a jury trial over Jane Roe, the 2019 country music superstar started to adjust them more. “This side of Brooks believes he has a right to sexual satisfaction when he wants it and that using a female employee to do so is fair game.”

Given the reports of repeated “painful and traumatic” rapes, assaults and other assaults, “fair game” is an understatement in a record so graphic that at one point it recounts the actions of the multi-Grammy-winning “Thunder Road” star. Singer speaks that are too dirty. to be mentioned here.”

Jane Roe's six-count lawsuit seeking unspecified damages comes as Brooks, under the guise of a John Doe, has gone to federal court in Mississippi in recent weeks to pursue what she calls a “fabricated lawsuit.” to stop. He claimed that if Jane Roe's allegations were made public it would cause “significant, irreparable harm” to his reputation and livelihood.

In fact, that bridge now appears to have been crossed, as Jane Roe, represented by Wigdor Law, is raising the Brooks lawsuit in her own lawsuit.

“Brooks' abusive Mississippi action is a blatant attempt to further control and victimize his sexual assault victim by using his multimillionaire resources to outsmart the legal system,” states Jane Roe in her complaint about the singer's legal action, ” while pretending to be in discussions with Ms. Roe to resolve her legal claims against him.”

Jane Roe's filing continues: “Brooks is desperate to prevent his millions of fans from knowing about the terrible things he said and did to a young employee who did nothing to deserve such treatment.” But “Our legal system is unable to allow wealthy perpetrators to bypass victims of sexual assault who seek to hold perpetrators accountable.”

Representatives for Brooks did not respond to requests for comment on the sexual assault allegations. If so, this post will be updated.

Jane Roe's lawyers had something to say beyond their client's detailed complaint

“We applaud our client’s courage in moving forward with her lawsuit against Garth Brooks,” attorneys Douglas H. Wigdor, Jeanne M. Christensen and Hayley Baker said in a joint statement when Jane Roe’s lawsuit was filed today.

“The complaint filed today shows that sexual predators exist not only in corporate America, Hollywood and the rap and rock 'n' roll industries, but also in the world of country music,” the trio said. “We are confident that Brooks will be held accountable for his actions, and his efforts to silence our client by filing a preemptive lawsuit in Mississippi were nothing other than an act of desperation and attempted intimidation.” We encourage others who may have been victimized to reach out to us as no survivor should suffer in silence.”
