Garth Brooks is accused of rape and sexual assault by a former makeup artist

Country star Garth Brooks is alleged to have raped and sexually assaulted a hair and make-up artist who worked for him and his wife, Trisha Yearwoodsays a lawsuit filed against the musician in California on Thursday.

An unnamed woman, identified in court documents as Jane Roe, said she worked with Yearwood in 1999 and with Brooks beginning in 2017. Brooks preemptively filed a lawsuit against Roe on Sept. 13 in Mississippi, where she lives, and used the pseudonym John Doe in his court filings.
