James Carville Slams Harris-Walz Campaign for Ineffective Response to Vance's ObamaCare Comments: 'Move!'

James Carville sharply criticized the Harris-Walz campaign for not doing more to counter vice presidential candidate JD Vance's claim that former President Donald Trump “saved ObamaCare” during Tuesday night's debate.

The Democratic strategist criticized the Harris/Walz campaign for what he said was an ineffective response to Vance's comments that Trump “saved” the Affordable Care Act (ACA) during his term as president.

“Why isn’t Harris talking about it herself today?,” Carville seethed on the Politics War Room podcast. “Get off your a–. Move, move, move!”

Carville noted that health care is a big issue and that the ACA is “a law that matters to people.”

He also called Vance's claim “a complete lie” and repeatedly questioned why Harris himself didn't speak about it in the media.

“What the hell are you all doing in the Harris campaign? ​​Get her out of there now, now!” he said. “You should have Obama and Nancy Pelosi and they should do a Zoom call with the national media. I mean, throw the crap out now and use it all.”

Carville made similar comments during an appearance on CNN, where he said Democrats should “go crazy” over Vance's “pants on fire” claim, Mediate first reported.

“Why didn't they just go crazy because Vance said Donald Trump saved ObamaCare?” Carville said. “This is awesome, 5 star 20 Pinocchio BS and it’s a great theme for us.”

“I don't know why they haven't addressed this – why they don't have (Vice President Kamala) Harris out there, President (Barack) Obama, former Speaker (Nancy) Pelosi, everyone else,” he added. “What are you talking about?”
