The Cowboys overtake the Steelers with a great performance from Dak Prescott and Jalen Tolbert on Sunday Night Football

A well-known saying from the Dallas Cowboys over the past few seasons is that Dak Prescott is a stat monster who can't get the job done in the win column in Dallas. Prescott is 2-2 in passing yards for the Cowboys, third in the league, and while the offense moved the ball through the air, it was the defense that got the majority of the negative headlines early in the year. While Dallas only allowed the Giants 26 rushing yards, the team still ranks last in the NFL in rush defense and will be without interior defender Demarcus Lawrence for at least a month due to a foot injury.

That could be a good combination for the 3-1 Steelers, who have an offense that ranks in the league's top 10 in rushing and is dedicated to the ground game, with quarterback Justin Fields still finding his footing. Russell Wilson is close to returning from a calf injury, but with a dominant defense — second in points allowed, fourth in yards allowed — Mike Tomlin may just need a game manager on offense to get to 4-1 and an early one AFC North season lead over the up-and-coming Baltimore Ravens.
