Donald Trump lashes out at 'The View's' 'Dumb Women' hosts after interview with Kamala Harris

Former President Donald Trump lashed out at the hosts The viewwho called her “degenerate” and “stupid women” after Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris appeared on the show.

Trump took aim at Truth Social on Tuesday, and Trump seemed particularly upset by a response from the vice president when asked if she would have done anything differently than President Joe Biden.

Although Harris previously said that “the influence of a personal experience will have an impact on a presidency,” Harris told the hosts, “There's nothing that comes to mind.” And I was involved in most of the decisions that had an impact .” She highlighted her work to cap the cost of insulin at $35 and reduce the cost of prescription drugs for seniors.

Later in the interview, Harris changed her mind and said she would do at least one thing differently: “I will have a Republican in my Cabinet.”

A seven-second portion of her response led to the former president posting a screed on X. “Lyin' Kamala, who is exposed as a 'dummy' every time she does a show, just told the degenerates on The View that she would have done nothing other than crooked Joe Biden, the WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES,” Trump raged.

“The lamestream media doesn't want to pick up the story, the stupid women on the show wish they had never asked her the question that led to this anti-election response, but the internet is going WILD,” Trump wrote before angering many of the grievances that he raises at rallies.

In another post later that evening on Truth Social, Trump again insisted that Harris was the liar. “I was the one who got the $35 insulin, not Lyin' Kamala,” he wrote.

Harris appeared on the ABC talk show as part of her campaign's latest media push, which also included more traditional interviews with 60 minutes as well as podcasts like Call her dad and radio host Howard Stern.

She used the interview to criticize the former president and other Republicans for spreading debunked claims about the response to Hurricane Helene.

Moderator Ana Navarro, a former Republican strategist, specifically accused Trump of spreading lies about the withholding of FEMA aid in Republican areas.

“Kamala spent all of her FEMA money — billions of dollars — on housing illegal immigrants,” Trump told a crowd in Saginaw, Michigan, last week. The claim was echoed by many Trump allies in Congress, including Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna and Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville.

“It’s profound and the height of irresponsibility and, frankly, insensitivity,” Harris responded to the comments. She accused the former president of “playing political games for his own sake” during the tragedy.

Trump has feuded with individual hosts of the show for years — notably former host Rosie O'Donnell, whom he even infamously insulted in a comment during the 2016 presidential debate with Hillary Clinton.

Longtime co-host Joy Behar has always been vocal against the former president, calling him a “true sociopath” in July of this year.
