Billie Eilish has admitted that she experienced some “dark times” during her previous tours, noting that she felt “lonely.”

However, as the singer prepares for her first tour without her family members coming along, she wants to make it a “pleasant” experience.

During a chat with Vogue magazineEilish's mother, Maggie Baird, spoke about her upcoming “Hit Me Hard And Soft” tour, noting that it would be the first outing where the singer wouldn't be at all of the dates with her family.

Baird joked, “I guess this is kind of our 'year of going to college,'” implying that she's sending her daughter away so she can be alone.

Both Eilsh's mother and father would be absent from the tour, and while her brother, Finneas O'Connell, would join her on certain dates, he would be busy promoting his solo album For Cryin' Out Loud.

Reflecting on her previous tour experiences, Eilish admitted that she went through “really dark times” and often felt like everything was “temporary.”

Although she acknowledges that touring still has its challenges, the singer is determined to make it a “more enjoyable” experience after realizing how lonely she had been for years.

“I didn’t realize I could make traveling enjoyable,” Eilish said fashion. “I was very lonely for many years and that doesn't interest me anymore. I want to enjoy the show as much as I enjoy my days.”

During an episode of Spotify's “Countdown To” vodcast, Eilish spoke about spending time away from her brother Finneas while he focuses on his own projects.

The singer noted that it was “hard” for her, but a relief.

“I feel like I spend all my time on tour and rehearsing like, 'Oh my God, Finneas wants to leave' or 'Finneas is unhappy.'” I just look up to you so much and want you to have the best time “Have,” Eilish said via People magazine.
