The San Diego Padres are poised to eliminate the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Division Series for the second time in three years, taking a 2-1 lead in Game 4 at Petco Park on Wednesday.

San Diego earned a nail-biting victory in Game 3, with all 11 runs of the 6-5 win coming in the first three innings. The Padres had bullied Los Angeles in Game 2 at Dodger Stadium after the Dodgers won the series opener in Shohei Ohtani's long-awaited postseason debut.

Ryan Brasier will start a bullpen game for the Dodgers, while Game 1 starter Dylan Cease will take a short break to help secure the Padres a spot in the NLCS.
