Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta Ambani arrived at the National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Mumbai to pay tribute to Ratan Tata, who passed away last night at the age of 86.

Mukesh and Nita Ambani also met Tata's half-brother Noel Tata and Chairman of Tata Sons and Tata Group N Chandrasekaran. The Ambanis are seen folding their hands in a somber greeting to the two men before presenting a wreath of flowers.

After news of Tata's death broke, industrialist Mukesh Ambani was among the first people in the industry to offer their condolences.

“It is a very sad day for India and India Inc. The death of Ratan Tata is a great loss, not only for the Tata Group but for every Indian. On a personal level, the death of Ratan Tata has filled me with great sadness as I have lost a dear friend,” Mukesh Ambani said in a statement.

“Each of my numerous interactions with him inspired and energized me and strengthened my respect for the nobility of his character and the good human values ​​he embodied.” Ratan Tata was a visionary industrialist and philanthropist, always committed to the cause of society,” he said. Earlier, Mukesh Ambani's daughter, Isha Ambani, had arrived at NCPA with her husband Anand Piramal.

Among those present were Maharashtra politicians Raj Thackeray, Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule, Uddhav Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray and Home Minister Amit Shah, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Actor Aamir Khan also came to pay his respects to Ratan Tata.

Ratan Tata's half-brother Jimmy Naval Tata, pictured in a wheelchair, was also photographed. Tata's close confidant and assistant Shantanu Naidu also reached NCPA.
