Police have arrested a woman after a dismembered body and apparently cooked body parts were reportedly found in her Kentucky home.

Torilena May Fields, 32, was taken into custody Tuesday evening in Robertson County and later charged with abuse of a corpse, obstructing government operations and tampering with evidence, Kentucky State Police said in a news release. After receiving a call about a deceased woman on Wednesday, officers obtained a search warrant for the property.

Fields, of the town of Mount Olivet, is being held at the Bourbon County Detention Center. Her arraignment is scheduled for Monday afternoon.

USA TODAY was unable to identify the attorney representing Fields as of Thursday afternoon.

Fields was reportedly covered in blood during the arrest

A subpoena said police found a “dismembered body” in the home Tuesday next to a “blood-stained mattress” and also found blood on the back porch, according to local station WLWT.

A witness said Field's “cast a spell on her and was confrontational,” the citation said. Officers also noticed drag marks in the grass on the property, WLWT reported.

Officers removed Fields from the home covered in blood after she refused to come out, station WXIX reported.

Arms, legs and head removed from the victim's body

According to WXIX, the subpoena detailed that the victim's arms, legs and head had been completely removed from the body.

Officers also discovered “multiple body parts and organs” in a folded mattress. They also found what appeared to be cooked human body parts in a pot that was still warm in the kitchen oven, WXIX reported.

Officials have not released the identity of the dismembered body, but WLWT reported that the body belonged to Field's mother.

An autopsy is expected to be released Friday, state police confirmed to USA TODAY.
