Kamala Harris Reacts to Maya Rudolph's 'SNL' Impression and 'Vageorgia' Clip

The view welcomed Vice President Kamala Harris to the Hot Topics table for her first live TV interview since accepting the Democratic nomination for President of the United States, then (hilariously) played the famous politician a clip of Maya Rudolph saying the word “vageorgia.” while she impersonates her Saturday Night Live.

Harris joined all six co-hosts – including Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin – for the extensive interview, which ended with Behar filming footage of Rudolph's acclaimed film SNL Impression of Harris.

“The cast of Saturday Night Live delivers for you, I think it's really good. She’s the one, let’s watch her do it,” the 82-year-old comedian told Harris, who watched the footage and giggled at Rudolph SNL Mimicking the season premiere.

“I'm so happy to be campaigning in every swing state I'm in, which I'm just going to call Wisconsipennsylvageorgia because I'm going to protect your Vageorgia,” Rudolph said in the clip, which Harris admitted, “that she had not done it”. “I haven’t seen it yet” before I sat The view Table.

“Maya Rudolph, she's so good, she had it all, the suit, the jewelry, the mannerisms,” Harris said, giving the actress her stamp of approval.

Elsewhere in the interview, Harris, 59, criticized her Republican opponent Donald Trump for preferring to “attack problems rather than solve them,” she estimated.

“He’s not solution-oriented,” she said. “And again, I'm going to invite people, if you really want to know how he thinks, since he doesn't do these kinds of interviews, go watch his rallies.”

Harris went on to accuse Trump of “perpetuating lies and misinformation” and criticized him for referring to fictional characters in his speeches.

“What he doesn’t talk about is you,” she continued. “He doesn't talk about what you need, he doesn't talk about what your parents need, what your children need. He doesn't talk about that. He doesn't talk about your child's needs. He talks about his needs. Back to The point is that in this election people are ready for a new generation of leadership that is about solving problems.”

Weekly entertainment has asked Trump representatives for a response.

Just last week, Behar urged undecided voters to follow the lead of Republican politician Liz Cheney, who also endorsed Harris at a recent campaign rally.

“Just do it this one time, do it this one time. Vote Democrats to save the country. Listen to Liz Cheney,” Behar said at the Hot Topics table last week, before directing her point at Griffin, who previously worked under Trump in the White House. “When everything goes back to normal, become a Republican again, like Alyssa will be.”

Griffin later responded, emphasizing that she is “still a Republican” who doesn't “believe my job is to tell people how to vote, but to give them the facts,” she said. “Having worked closely with him, I have facts that you may not know. I feel like this is my duty to the country.”
