Snoop Dogg will feature Jelly Roll and Sting on new album Missionary

Snoop Dogg reveals some new details about who fans can expect on his upcoming album. During the Bloomberg Screentime conference on Thursday, Snoop revealed that he will feature Sting and Jelly Roll on his future album. missionary.

“I got a contribution from Jelly Roll and Sting,” Snoop revealed. “I’m so glad that Sting and I have such a good record.”

“We hung out and relaxed. Like a child who is fascinated by someone as a singer and you get the chance to meet him and he gives you everything you expect,” he added. “This happens to me all the time: I meet people I've always wanted to meet, and they're exactly what I wanted them to be.”

Snoop teased missionarywhich comes on the 30th anniversary of Doggy stylefor almost two years. At the end of 2022, he announced that he was seeing Dr. Dre teamed up to produce the record. Dre told ET this summer that the LP would feature an “amazing artist roster.”

“We were just kids back then, you know what I mean? “Snoop was maybe 18 or 19 years old and I’m, I think, six years older than him,” Dre said in August. “So we were still kids back then, and this one will show a different level of maturity with his lyrics and my music.”

During his Bloomberg chat, the rap star shared his excitement about returning to Dre after decades.

“1993 was the last time he produced a full Snoop Dogg album,” Snoop said. “So this is a reunion and collaboration between two friends who really love each other. We know we are better together.”
