Duke Basketball Recruiting Intel: Boozer Twins Decision Buzz

Last week, it looked like Columbus High School (Florida) five-star forward Cameron Boozer and his twin brother in five-star guard Cayden Boozer, who have held Duke basketball offers since May 2022, would get theirs this Thursday Announce college decisions. But that no longer seems to be a set date.

Adam Zagoria, a national recruiting insider, reported Wednesday afternoon, “Hurricane Milton is impacting the Boozers' announcement schedule, among many other things.”

Zagoria added that Cameron Boozer and Cayden Boozer are expected to make the announcement on social media, but not through a press conference or live interview with a major recruiting site.

In other words, it looks like the announced brothers may now announce their highly anticipated recruiting decisions without first revealing the time or date.

The Boozer twins are reportedly choosing between hometown hopeful Miami and the Duke basketball program, where their father, Carlos Boozer, was a key figure in the 2000-2001 national championship and shined for three seasons before a 13-year NBA career enjoyed and became a two-time All-Star forward.

Third-year Blue Devil head coach Jon Scheyer and his staff continue to search for their first recruiting prize of 2025.

Maybe it will come in the form of two wins at the same time. However, currently the 247Sports Crystal Ball does not contain any predictions for Cameron Boozer, No. 2 overall in the 247Sports 2025 Composite, or Cayden Boozer, No. 21 in the class.
