Jessica Chastain slams airline after broken in-flight entertainment

Jessica Chastain is not happy after recently taking a flight with JetBlue.

In a post on her social media account, an angry Chastain expressed her displeasure that she received a $15 credit following the incident – an amount she apparently felt was insufficient.

“Thank you @JetBlue for your $15.00 credit,” Chastain wrote via X. “My flight was $1500 and the credit is 1/100 of the money I paid you.”

She continued, “Strange that I paid that for your in-flight entertainment system that didn't work during my six-hour flight, but I think it was worth it for that $15 credit.”

JetBlue's in-flight entertainment is typically included free when traveling with the budget airline.

Chastain also shared a screenshot of a conversation with a customer representative who confirmed that she received blame for the faulty entertainment system.

“The flight attendants paid $15 each for the television outage,” a JetBlue representative’s message to Chastain said.

Reacting to this, the actress expressed her frustration over the amount, considering how much she had spent on tickets.

“I understand, but I spent $1,500 on the flight and so did my husband. There should be some flight credit or something since I have a TrueBlue account and am a loyal customer,” Chastain wrote.

Despite her complaints, the screenshot showed the JetBlue agent apologizing and responding, “I can't do anything more.”

Chastain has nearly a million followers on the social media platform after her breakthrough role in “ Tree of Life in 2011.

Over the years she also appeared in The help (2011), Zero Dark Thirty (2012), Scenes from a marriage (2021) and more.
