Sean “Diddy” Combs appears to be checking out Justin Bieber for the Wire: video

An old clip of Sean “Diddy” Combs groping Justin Bieber in what appears to be an attempt to check the pop star for a police wire has gone viral after the rapper was arrested on federal sex crimes charges.

The video, believed to have been recorded sometime in 2021, shows Combs wearing a pink hoodie from Bieber's clothing line Drew and walking up to greet the “Peaches” singer next to a black SUV.

It's unclear why they were recorded, but then the camera pans to show the Bad Boy Records founder's back and he appears to ask Bieber a question, causing him to shake his head: “No.”

Combs then pats the “Ghost” singer, who was wearing an all-black outfit and a brown hat, on the chest over his shirt. He touches it lightly first with his knuckles and then with his palm.

At the end of the video, the hip-hop mogul whispers something in Bieber's ear before walking away as the former teen idol gets back into his vehicle and tells the “I Need a Girl” singer, “I love you.”

“Paranoia,” one person commented

However, others questioned this theory with one social media user over

“It is not when you move away from their presence that they move away from yours. This is a nonsense idea.”

Fans speculated that there may have been a wire check in the video, since it was revealed earlier this year that federal authorities were actually investigating Combs – although it's unclear when the investigation began.

In March, the Department of Homeland Security and other law enforcement agencies searched the “Bad Boy for Life” rapper's mansions in Miami and Los Angeles.

In a 14-page indictment released in September, the government disclosed some of the evidence they obtained from the properties, including 1,000 bottles of lubricant and three AR-15s.

Combs, 54, was soon charged with conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution.

A lawyer in Texas has since alleged that Sean John's founder sexually abused 25 minors, including one person who was nine years old at the time of the alleged crime.

Combs has denied wrongdoing and is awaiting trial behind bars at a notorious prison in Brooklyn, New York.

Bieber, in turn, was said to be “completely disgusted” by the allegations against Combs.

“Justin is in a tough spot mentally right now,” a source claimed to Us Weekly on Wednesday.

“He has such a close relationship with Diddy and the allegations against him were difficult to process.”

An insider also told the outlet that the 30-year-old “Intentions” singer is focused on fatherhood — as he and wife Hailey Bieber just welcomed a son, Jack — and “has nothing to do with Combs' issues.” want to have”.

However, the internet has repeatedly implicated Justin in the scandal due to his close friendship with the “Making the Band” creator when he was a teenager.

In March, an old YouTube video about the “Baby” singer's “48 Hours with Diddy” resurfaced online.

It showed Combs saying, “Where we hang out and what we do we can't really reveal, but it's definitely a 15-year-old's dream,” which raised concerns due to its cryptic nature.

A second video that resurfaced the same month showed the “Last Night” rapper confronting Justin about why they weren't spending time together “like they used to,” which visibly made the latter uncomfortable.

And last week, a clip from 2011's “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” sparked conversation as it showed Combs warning his young pal that he “knows better than to talk about the things he has to do with his big brother Puff does.”

Page Six has repeatedly reached out to representatives for Combs and Justin for comment on the viral clips but has not received a response.
