Timothee Chalamet is reportedly in desperate need of a mentor who could set him on the right path.

While Timothee Chalamet is unsure about his position in Hollywood amid competition from Glen Powell, an insider shared Life & Style that the star aspires to become a bigger movie star than his mentor Leonardo Di Caprio.

“But the bigger issue here is that Timmy's entire self-esteem depends on being the guy on the movie poster or walking the red carpet at one of his big premieres,” the source also explained.

“That’s no way to live life, even for a Hollywood movie star,” the source confided.

They continued, “And if Timmy would just talk to a few people that are around, like Matthew McConaughey or Keanu Reeves,” they noted, “Maybe he would understand that being a Hollywood leading man means everything “There will be ups and downs, some things won’t work out and you’ll have to roll with the punches.”

“That's not how Timmy is acting at the moment – he seems so afraid of someone coming along and starting a hot streak much bigger than the one he's currently on,” they continued.

“He desperately wants to protect all of this, and that’s really the saddest thing about him. It's working so far, but it's a completely twisted way to go through life,” the source concluded.
