Robin Goomes is the first woman to win the Red Bull Rampage. The historic event was years in the making and represents a major step forward in women's mountain biking. She did it in style aboard her custom Barbie-style Yeti SB 165.

Goomes took the win with 85 points and landed two big backflips. The flips also earned her the Best Trick Award from the Utah Sports Commission. It wasn't all for Goomes either. She wowed the judges with a 41-foot jump and completed the top technical slide.

Judges said her line was a nod to old-school Red Bull Rampage runs, which were technical and reflected the spirit of freeriding.

Barbie gets gnarly

Goomes' bike is another item that turned heads during her Red Bull Rampage runs. It's a Yeti SB165 with a unique Barbie theme. We're not talking Barbie touches here; We're talking a full-fledged theme, right down to redesigning their sponsors' logos in Barbie style.

Robin Goomes controls a Yeti SB165 with an interesting wheelset from ENVE: the brand new M-Series M9 27.5″/26″ Pro Mini-Mullet setup. This is an athlete version of the new M-Series wheels released this week (full details can be found here). The M9 tires are attached to ENVE's Innerdrive hubs, which feature an oversized, adjustable ratchet system.

As for the suspension, Goomes rocked the SR-Suntour RUX downhill fork. When it came to components, Goomes opted for a combination of Shimano Saint and XT. The Shimano theme carries over to the brakes and rotors (but no Barbie paint job).

Gooms is a Kenda athlete and prefers the ACT casing Pinner Pros for difficult courses like the one she faced this week.
