Josh Dobbs and Jauan Jennings are forced to rock the Arkansas gear after Tennessee's surprising loss

One of the best modern traditions in the NFL is players on the same team making friendly bets with each other when their respective alma maters face off on Saturdays. In the following days, the losing team had to wear the winning team's clothing in the facility and sometimes even on the podium.

Current San Francisco 49ers and former Tennessee Volunteers Josh Dobbs and Jauan Jennings were the latest casualties in the league after the Vols' surprising loss to Arkansas last Saturday. When former Razorbacks quarterback Brandon Allen arranged for the two to provide Arkansas gear for the sport, the defeat followed in a hilarious moment that can be seen below.

The Arkansas program may have done its part to punish Dobbs and Jennings, as Allen held a box with several different hat and shirt options for the two to hold up their end of the bargain. They selected their gear and stood together for a video put together by Dobbs, which featured the iconic dark tune of Titanic.

Tennessee's 19-14 road loss at Arkansas on Saturday was one of seven Top 25 teams to fall in a surprising college football weekend. This led to Razorback fans storming the field and tearing down the goalposts in Fayetteville, dropping from #4 to #8 in the rankings.

Dobbs and Jennings' careers overlapped for two seasons at Tennessee in 2015 and 2016. Jennings played the first two seasons with the Vols and Dobbs the last two before both took their talents to the NFL.

Jennings was selected by the 49ers with the No. 217 pick in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft and has since caught 120 passes for 1,561 yards and 11 touchdowns for the franchise. Three years earlier, Dobbs was drafted in the fourth round by the Pittsburgh Steelers and has since had stops with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans, Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings before reuniting with Jennings in San Francisco this year.

Tennessee will look to bounce back in a home game against Florida this weekend, while the Razorbacks get some rest in a bye this week before hosting LSU next Saturday.
