Cory Michael Smith, who plays Chase in the film, confirmed this People that Chase has seen the film but hasn't said what the actor thinks of his performance. He explained: “I hope that he saw a younger version of himself, which may or may not be a joyful experience.” But this man played such a big role in my desire to become an actor and love films, so it was an honor to play him.”
