RICHMOND, Va. – Sunshine will mix with a few clouds today. It will be windy and warm, with temperatures near or above 80 degrees in most areas away from the coast.

Tonight the clouds are getting thicker. Lows are 55-60.

A cold front will move through on Monday with some clouds and gusty breezes. Highs will range from the mid-60s in the far northwest to the mid-70s in the far southeast.

Tuesday will be partly to mostly cloudy and we could see a shower or a few showers. It will be much cooler, with highs in the mid 50s to lower 60s.

Tuesday night will be cold with lows of 35-40 degrees, although temperatures could drop to near freezing in some isolated areas west of I-95.

Wednesday will be partly cloudy with highs near 60°.

There will be widespread 30s offshore Wednesday evening. Some areas west of I-95 will experience freezing temperatures. Some 20+ are possible near I-81.

Sunny skies are expected from Thursday to next Sunday. Highs will warm into the 70s. The night will rise into the 40s.

Tropics: The Atlantic is fairly calm and no major activity is expected this week.
