Greece go into this game after an impressive 2-1 win over England at Wembley on Wednesday and take control of their group. The victory has given the Greeks new impetus as they look to continue their impressive run.

They took the lead in this game shortly after half-time when Vangelis Pavlidis weaved through three defenders and fired a low shot past the goalkeeper. He also scored the winning goal in stoppage time when England pushed into the penalty area again and passed the ball to him.

He didn't miss it.

Greece is 3-0-0 and has nine points in League B, Group 2.

They will be without defender Konstantinos Koulierakis, who is suspended for one game for his second yellow card of the Nations League season against England. Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas also remains a doubt after missing this game due to illness.

This game will be the first in Greece following the tragic death of right-back George Baldock, who died last week aged just 31. Baldock was reportedly found lifeless in the swimming pool at his home in a suburb of Athens. No further details were available.

Ireland are now 1-0-2 and have three points.
