Actress Nara Rohit, nephew of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, got engaged to her Prathinidhi 2 co-star Siree Leela on October 13 in Hyderabad. The CM, Nandamuri Balakrishna and other family members attended the grand ceremony at Novotel. Nara Rohit gets engaged

RVR PRO, the photographer who captured the engagement, posted pictures of the couple from the engagement on Instagram. Rohit opted for a cream colored kurta for the ceremony while Siree opted for a traditional red and gold silk sari. The couple is seen smiling broadly in the pictures as they hug and pose for clicks.

A paparazzo posted videos of Chandrababu and Balakrishna arriving at the venue. The latter wore a blue and gold kurta for the ceremony. His cousin, politician Nara Lokesh, and his wife Brahmani also attended the event.

Nara and Siree

Not much is known about Nara and Siree's love story as the couple kept a low profile during their courtship. The photographer, who shared his pictures, wrote: “Today it is our honor to announce the engagement of two stars who, amid shared dreams, hard work and passion for their craft, have found love where they least expected it had.”

Siree recently returned to India after studying abroad and worked with Rohit on Prathinidhi 2, which released in April this year. Talking about Rohit during the promotions of the film, she said, “When I first met him on the sets, I thought he was so good and looked so innocent. We became good friends. I really like Rohit and his films.”

She also told the press earlier this year: “I've always wanted to act in films. But my typical Telugu parents wanted me to get married. I asked her for two years because I don't want to regret not following my passion. I did a lot of auditions and now I am lucky enough to work with Rohit in my first film.”
