What happened between Ammar and Karma in Love Is Blind Habibi?

Love is blind, Habibi Stars Ammar and Karma were one of the six couples who got engaged in the first season of this spin-off. Ammar and Karma both took part in the show, just like the other singles, to find their future partner. The couple rode together for a while, but their differing opinions created a rift that eventually led to them parting ways.

Ammar, a dentist by profession, was clear about the qualities he wanted from his wife. Before you put the pods in Love is blind, Habibihe said to the cameras:

“I'm more on the classic side. If a girl wants to get married, she should make time for her partner or husband.”

Karma, on the other hand, displayed a more fun and bubbly personality, as well as the ability to delve deeply into emotions. She was looking for someone who could handle her strong personality. The couple was the first to get engaged in episode 2 of Love is blind, Habibi and started on a nice note. However, when they left the pods and entered the real world to discuss more important matters in life, the couple ran into trouble.

Ammar seemed uncomfortable with Karma's funny attitude and asked her to stay away from other men. He expressed that he didn't want her to act like that in front of other men.

The boiling point reached Ammar when he expressed that Karma should not pursue dancing and acting as career options. Karma decided to separate and the couple called off their engagement in episode 6.


Ammar called Karma's dance a “trivial problem” which led to their breakup Love is blind, Habibi.

In episode 6 of Love is blind, HabibiAmmar and Karma decided to do a reality check and discuss some relevant questions about their priorities in life. Episode 6 was all about couples being vulnerable about their personalities, their passions, and what's important to them in their lives. Ammar took the opportunity to express his discomfort with Karma's dance pro, calling it “unacceptable” in Arab society.

Karma, who is an entrepreneur by profession, expressed her passion to pursue a career as a dancer and actress as well. This did not please Ammar, who claimed to hold classical views.

He came to the show to find a woman who would keep her husband and family in mind first. He was disappointed that Karma tried to convince him about her dance career, even though he knew he didn't appreciate such qualities in women.

The two started the conversation while they were on a date and Ammar made sure she had to be prepared for his reaction. Karma nodded with a “Of course” and said:

“So we didn't agree on the dancing issue, yes?”

She continued and added:

“And you told me that you would never accept that in your life?”

Ammar replied that it was clear to him from the beginning that this was a clear no for him, pointing out that dancing as a profession is not accepted by Arab society. Karma told him that after thinking about it, she decided that they shouldn't be together. This made Ammar a little upset and he noticed that it would make her life difficult if she chose something trivial like dancing over love.

However, Love is blind, Habibi Star Karma had her reasons and told him that for her dance was an art form and not something trivial. She said:

“Let me tell you why that’s right. Every person in the world has their own identity For me.”

Karma walked away in peace and did not regret her decision at all. Ammar, on the other hand, seemed salty as he declined a goodbye hug from Karma.
