The first of many cold fronts is coming tomorrow!

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Happy Saturday! I hope everyone had a great day. It was warm today with highs reaching the high 90s with many reaching over 100 degrees. Tomorrow's cold front is currently located in northern Oklahoma and will move southward during the overnight hours.

We will see very gusty north to northeast winds at 10 to 15 mph starting around daybreak tomorrow. Gusts up to 30 miles per hour. The cooler air associated with this cold front will be delayed, allowing highs to reach the upper 80s to lower 90s under partly cloudy skies. No precipitation is expected during the frontal passage.

On Monday the sky will be mostly cloudy, with some clearing up as the day progresses. The cooler air mass will settle into falling high temperatures into the low 80s. Light north to south wind.

On Tuesday afternoon, temperatures will reach over 80 degrees with partly cloudy skies. This warming will be short-lived as another cold front moves south Tuesday evening. Winds will shift toward the northeast at speeds of 10 to 20 miles per hour. Expected wind gusts will be higher.

Unfortunately, no precipitation falls during this frontal passage either. We won't reach the mid-70s until Wednesday afternoon, with a mix of sun and clouds.

The third and final cold front of the 7-day forecast will move in Saturday morning. Highs will fall back into the mid 70s, but with this front, models are pointing to widespread rain! It's still early and seven days away, but the First Alert Weather Team will be keeping a close eye on this trend!

Have a great Sunday! -LW
