Brantley Gilbert interrupts the concert as his wife Amber gives birth on the tour bus

It is a birth story for eternity.

Country rock singer Brantley Gilbert shared all the details about “the craziest night of my life” in an Instagram video on Saturday. He announced that his wife, Amber Cochran Gilbert, went into labor while he was mid-show at the Cadence Bank Arena in Tupelo, Mississippi, during his Off the Rails Tour.

The video begins with Gilbert rocking out on stage when shortly after, “he's pulled backstage for an emergency,” the screen says. Then we move on to Gilbert, who is on the phone with his mother and tells her the great news: “You’ve got a new grandchild.”

The couple named their new bundle of joy Abram Howell Gilbert, born October 11th.

While his mother can be heard celebrating on the phone, the video shows black and white clips of her newborn child, a son. Gilbert's mother then asked him how his wife was doing, to which he replied: “She's a bloody savage.” His mother added: “I know that. She's great. She’s absolutely amazing.”

Nevertheless, the show must go on. In the video, Gilbert is seen hanging up because he had to “finish the show.” Back on stage, the country singer told his fans, “We had a baby.”

As concertgoers erupted in congratulations, Gilbert's bandmates also hugged him and celebrated the news.

Sharing the video of his child's birth story, Gilbert wrote, “Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I will never forget. The Gilberts have been married since 2015 and are parents to son Barrett (6) and daughter Braylen (5).

“We will never forget how you got here,” the couple wrote in another joint Instagram post, “and we can't wait to see what you do here.”
