TV stations, it's time to get started

The last time Cleveland played in the American League Championship Series against the New York Yankees was in 1998.

Cleveland took a 2-1 lead in the series, but ultimately lost 4-2 to the eventual World Series winners. The first two games of this series will be played at Yankee Stadium, as in 1998.

Could the result be different? The Yankees finished the regular season 94-68, the best record in the American League. The Guardians countered with a 92-69 regular-season record, second-best in the AL.

New York reached the ALCS by defeating the Kansas City Royals 3-1 last Thursday. That gives the Yankees the remaining advantage over the Guardians, who defeated the Detroit Tigers in five games on Saturday.

When will the 2024 World Series take place?
