FORECAST

Good morning! We are now less than 24 hours away from an actual fall front (it's about time!). Before we get there, be aware that more records are likely to fall today. Yesterday we exceeded the old record by 3 degrees and even reached triple-digit temperatures in some places. That will probably be the case again today. Expect a high temperature of around 97° in San Antonio.

The front will reach us overnight into early Wednesday morning. If this is the case, windy northeasterly winds will blow during the first half of the day. Temperatures will initially drop to the low 60s on Wednesday morning before reaching just over 70 degrees in the afternoon. Finally! Then, on Thursday morning, we'll dip into the mid-50s. You want to get those jackets out of the closet for the kids. Temperatures will rise back to around 80 degrees by Thursday afternoon.

On Friday the clouds will start to get thicker. Some showers are possible, mainly on Saturday (20%). However, no significant rainfall is forecast. If we see something, it will be light. Clouds will help keep temperatures at seasonal levels into next week.
