What is Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima's workout routine?

Big news for fashion fans: Adriana Lima is coming out of retirement. But the supermodel doesn't just walk a runway – she attends the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which she attended 18 times before retiring from the brand in 2018.

Adriana made the announcement in a sweet video shared on Instagram, in which she is seen getting into a taxi and telling the driver, “I'm going home.”

After the driver tells her he doesn't know where she lives, she replies, “Can you drop me off at the Victoria's Secret show?” I'll be back!”

The 43-year-old has worked hard since retiring, especially considering she is now also a mother of five. But despite everything she's going through, Adriana looks super fit right now. Here's what she shared about her workout routine.

She was trained by Taylor Swift's trainer.

Adriana works with Dogpound Gym founder Kirk Myers, who also works with Tay Swift and models Jasmine Tookes and Romee Strijd. Myers says Adriana doesn't joke around when it comes to fitness.

“She's a badass and all the other supermodels look up to her for inspiration,” he said fashion. “She is known to train the hardest among supermodels and all the other Victoria's Secret Angels have high praise and admiration for her.”

They do a lot of cardio together.

Myers and Dogpound shared a few videos on Instagram of Adriana completing some cardio-heavy workouts. In one, Adriana is seen powering through battle ropes training like a boss.

In another, she's boxing, doing core exercises and mastering some medicine balls.

Apparently Adriana is pretty modest too.

“Without that, you would never know she was famous,” Myers said fashion. “She’s super down to earth and friendly, has the biggest heart and perhaps most importantly, a great mother and person.”

She changes her training.

Adriana has tried a number of different workouts, including 54D, a program that combines high-intensity training, nutrition plans and recovery therapy for fitness.

She sticks to a strict training program so that she is always in top shape. “I'm always ready. That’s why I’ve been in the business for over 20 years,” she said insider in 2017.

While Adriana shared that 80 percent of her workout routine is boxing, she also puts a lot of emphasis on jumping rope, weight lifting, and taking exercise classes.

While she's still heavily involved in boxing, Adriana also does yoga and Lagree, which combines elements of strength training, cardio, conditioning and Pilates on a reformer cart, she said The standard in 2020.

She goes to the gym almost every day.

Consistency is key for Adriana. “I’m in the gym every day,” she said insider. “Or if I'm not at the gym, I'll work out somewhere, like in my bedroom.”

Adriana trains six days a week and takes one day off, she said The standard.

Welcome back to the show, Adriana!
