Invincible Season 3 Gets Release Date (No Midseason Break This Time)

Invincible Season 3 Gets Release Date (No Midseason Break This Time)

Invincible Season 3 has a release date, but it may have been revealed a little earlier than Prime Video would have liked thanks to a leak over the weekend. The new season will be released on February 6, 2025.

We learned this from a now-removed leaked trailer on Sunday, which was reported by Forbes and then republished today by the official Prime Video account on X/Twitter. In the trailer, Mark and Cecil Stedman chat at Burger Mart about what Mark was up to after the events of season two… which, much to Stedman's chagrin, doesn't sound like much:

Prime Video's X/Twitter post of the trailer is a bit cheeky with the line “Mark never gets a break” and a few other references in this trailer, such as the allusion to Mark taking a multi-month vacation. These mocking remarks are selfless references to the intermission of the second season of “Invincible” between its premiere in November 2023 and part 2 in March 2024. The fact is that there is no intermission in the third season of “Invincible”.

This is great news because seasons 1 and 2 of Invincible are pretty darn good. We gave Season 1 an 8/10, calling it “great, thanks to its unique action and strong character-centered gravitas,” and said that Season 2 “highlights its strongest elements long enough to leave a lasting impression.” scattered structure” in our 7/10 rating. And we know for sure that there's more to come after Season 3, as it was announced at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year that Invincible had been renewed for a fourth season.

We got a sneak peek at what the third season has in store at SDCC along with the news of the fourth season renewal. Creator Robert Kirkman unveiled a new look for Mark in the upcoming season, hinting at an even darker side to the hero.
