Kate Moss brings the audience to life with her debut at the 2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Queen Kate Moss made her debut at the 2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York on Tuesday, walking the runway in a surprise appearance that sent viewers and spectators reeling.

The 50-year-old supermodel reclaimed her crown as one of the world's most famous runway vixens by stepping onto the runway at the VS Fashion Show for the first time ever, which is hard to believe given her incredible career.

While Moss has appeared in many shows since her official retirement in 2004, the star showed she wasn't acting as she strutted in a sheer lace dress while showing off her bra and bottoms in her big debut.

Her surprise walk sparked chaos among the audience and online.

The audience lost their minds when Moss appeared out of nowhere and dominated the stage while “I Love Rock 'n' Roll” played. The audience screamed for the supermodel, who paired her glamorous look with black angel wings, curved earrings, smokey eyes and nude lips.

“Kate Moss, mother of the most supermodel of all time, is making a comeback at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show,” one X user wrote.

“Victoria Secret didn't bring Kate Moss out of retirement!!!!!!!” screamed another. “Look at how Kate Moss stayed in character darling yeah,” wrote a third.

Moss' appearance was greeted with cheers and claps from the audience and seemed to wake them up from an otherwise mediocre show – especially for the first time since its cancellation in 2019 after the brand came under fire for a lack of diversity.

Victoria's Secret announced the return of its fashion show in May.

“We read the comments and listened to you,” one Instagram caption read. “The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is ✨ BACK ✨ and will reflect who we are today and everything you know and love – glamour, runway, wings, musical entertainment and more! Stay tuned…it only gets more iconic from here on out. 🪽”

In addition to Moss, supermodel highlights included Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Gigi Hadid, Grace Elizabeth and Tyra Banks, who closed the show.

Without the all-female performances – kudos to Tyla, Lisa and the icon herself, Cher – it would be a mystery whether the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show should have even taken place again.
