Recap of Episode 4 of The Voice 26: The Blind Auditions, Part 5

Tonight on “The Voice,” coach Michael Buble, Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire And Gwen Stefani Participated in Part 5 of the Blind Auditions Round of Season 26. Typically at this stage of the competition, coaches are highly competitive and creative in their suggestions to get artists to decide to join their team. First-time coach Snoop's creative juices only really began to flow when he stopped fighting for it Kay Sibal to join his team and advocated for her to join Team Gwen instead.

Even though Kay wasn't a four-seater (Reba said she had no chance against the other three trainers), she received some of the most rave reviews of the night after her audition for “From the Start.” Snoop told her that he loved the “jazziness” of her performance and the way she broke down the parts of the song. He also cited her confidence and excitement on stage as reasons why he turned his chair. Reba added that she has a wide vocal range and a “lightness” in her voice that gives her the freedom to sing anything.

Gwen said Kay's “heart just felt really open” and she could hear the positivity in her performance. When Gwen told her that she had “so much potential” and “knows exactly what she needs to do” to improve, Kay said that she “dreamed about (Gwen) saying exactly that.” Michael did did his best to appeal to Kay's strength in jazz and how he could help her transition to pop, because that's what he did, but then Snoop stepped back in, pulling out of the race and throwing his hat in the ring with that Kay could decide Gwen.

Snoop told Kay that she should be with Gwen because of her connection to California and the fact that her own dream is coming true. When Kay previously spoke about her father, who died of cancer three years ago, Snoop seemed touched, so the idea that she dreamed of working with Gwen felt meaningful. Then, as her brothers watched from the stage, expressing that she “listens to what her dad sends her,” Kay decided to become the newest member of Team Gwen.

At the end of Episode 5, Kay and ten other artists have secured a spot on a team. Team Snoop recruits Eliza Pryor, Mary McAvoy And Brad sample. Team Reba got four chair spinners Lauren Michael Sellers, Tsola And Deon Jones. Team Gwen added Kay Sibal, Beya and four chair turns Camryn Brooks.
