Soulja Boy and Roscoe Dash perform at the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards

Soulja Boy and Roscoe Dash celebrated the ringtone era in grand style at the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards. On Tuesday (October 14), Soulja took the stage first and performed the internet's first viral song and dance, “Crank That.” With this, he turned Drais Beach Club Nightclub into YouTube in 2007. The crowd immediately broke into the choreographed dance, with “YUHHHHHHHHH” echoing throughout the slightly subdued venue.

Soulja, dressed in a matching brown leather ensemble with various chains around his neck, performed a few moves from his “Superman” dance before segueing into “Turn My Swag On.” Lights flickered and smaller pyrotechnics flared up as the internet rap star did a few more dance steps with the backup dancers.

Then suddenly Roscoe appears. The year 2010 is upon us and Roscoe performs his hit single “All The Way Turnt Up” with Soulja Boy. Roscoe and Soulja gave each other a peppy hug before jumping straight into the song, impressively switching back and forth throughout the song with adlibs from the audience.

“DJ turn me up, turn it up to the max/ I got loads of gwalla, I mess up stacks/ Polo on, shoes and shirt to match/ I'm so turned up, I brag to the max/ If you bring it in and you get money” Dash rapped, with additional vocals from Soulja Boy. “I'm gonna pop a bottle, right here, your song/ P- by the zone, you can smell it on my clothes/ And it went up my swisher to put one right in the dome.”
