As part of the audition, the Jacksonville, Florida native performs LeAnn Rimes' 1996 hit “One Way Ticket (Because I Can),” premiering exclusively on billboard below, and her easygoing yet steady vocal ability, coupled with her charming country twang, immediately catches the attention of Gwen Stefani, who turns her chair at the first few notes of Katie O's performance.

Snoop Dogg follows suit, as does Michael Bublé and country superstar McEntire — much to the dismay of Stefani, who playfully whines at one point, “Why is Reba here?”

“You have a lot of heart and soul when you sing and you were so sweet when I turned around, so I thought that was cute,” McEntire tells Katie O., who was visibly excited to see the “Fancy” singer on her side. “I love this. I love your smile too.”

However, Stefani put up a good fight by telling the teenager: “I pushed my button as quickly as I could as soon as I heard your voice. “I really enjoy working with young girls. …Do you know what's crazy? – and that was before you turned around, Reba – you were moving, walking around, your voice so sure and strong and so composed. I’d love to have you on Team Gwen.”

Snoop didn't help Stefani's cause when he pointed out how similar Katie O. and McEntire are. “You know what? “When you talk, you sound just like her,” the rapper tells the young musical hopeful.
