Southeastern Wyoming could see its first snow this fall

While temperatures in southeastern Wyoming over the past few weeks have been more typical of May than October, we could soon be getting our first real taste of winter weather.

The National Weather Service's Cheyenne office is forecasting the possibility of snow for both Cheyenne and Laramie Friday evening, with snow also predicted in the mountains.

We asked Cheyenne-based meteorologist Don Day Jr. what he thinks about possible snow Friday/Saturday:

Here is his answer: ““Perhaps the chances of this storm developing accumulation are more to the west of us, but another chance could arise on Sunday/Monday, the chances are higher for Casper/Laramie.”
