New Jersey voter registration deadline is Tuesday • New Jersey Monitor

Tuesday is the deadline for New Jersey residents to register in time to vote in this year's presidential race.

Residents who are United States citizens can register to vote if they are not incarcerated and have lived in their county for at least 30 days before Election Day. To register you must be at least 17 years old, but must be 18 years old beforehand You can vote on November 5th.

Registration applications may be returned in person to a county's election officer or registration officer, depending on the county. These offices, as well as local employees and some state authorities, may provide voter registration forms which are also available on-line.

In-person registration applications will be accepted until an office closes, and some counties will have extended hours on Tuesday to give voters more time to register. For example, some offices in Burlington County remain open until 8:00 p.m. or 9:00 p.m., depending on location.

Registration applications can also be returned by post is accepted that way as long as she are stamped no later than Oct 15

New Jersey requires voters to be registered 21 days before an election to participate in this race.
