Niall Horan announces break from The Show tour finale

Horan assured fans that he would return from his hiatus with a new album

Niall Horan has announced a break at the end of his The Show world tour in 2024 and promised to return with a “brand new album”.

The Show world tour was in support of the former One Direction member's third solo album, which saw three sold-out shows at the 3Arena in February. The final show of the tour took place on October 9th in Bogota, Colombia.

“It’s tomorrow, you’ll never find me,” he said. “I’m going to have a damn hangover tomorrow! And I'm going to disappear for a while. I’m going to make you a brand new album and I’ll be back, I promise.”

Horan continued his statement on X, saying: “Night Eighty-Seven Bogotá. The final night of The Show Live On Tour. The last 8 months have been nothing short of incredible.”

It's unclear how long the singer will be on hiatus, but he has assured fans that he will continue to work on developing new music.

In an interview with Hot Press last year, Niall spoke about his fame, saying: “It comes with all these benefits. But every day I try to live as simple a life as possible. Don’t “try” – I just do it! I’m too Irish for it to be that elaborate!”
