Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons will miss his third preseason game and forward Jerami Grant will miss his first Wednesday night against Ratiopharm Ulm at the Moda Center.

Forward Jabari Walker (right ankle pain) will also sit.

Blazers coach Chauncey Billups said before the 7 p.m. game that Simons would be out with ankle soreness while Grant would get some rest.

“Ant was just in a little pain, but he's doing pretty well,” Billups said.

Shaedon Sharpe (left shoulder and posterior labrum tear), Robert Williams III (left hamstring strain) and Matisse Thybulle (right knee) are also out.

The Blazers will start Scoot Henderson, Rayan Rupert, Deni Avdija, Toumani Camara and Deandre Ayton.

Ratiopharm Ulm's point guard Ben Saraf is a player to keep an eye on tonight. The 6-foot-6 point guard is a potential 2025 lottery pick.
