Ratiopharm Ulm was given the opportunity to compete against an NBA team in the preseason thanks to the German club's valuable talent development system.

Without their best talent, they simply couldn't compete against Portland. In fact, both 2006-born Ben Saraf and Noa Essengue stole the show despite a 110-100 defeat.

The Israeli guard, who competed against compatriot Deni Avdija, who had 18 points, scored 16 points on 3/5 shooting from distance. The French forward, on the other hand, had a fantastic night against the Trail Blazers with 20 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.

In the remainder of the NBA preseason, Simone Fontecchio led the Detroit Pistons over the Cleveland Cavaliers with 18 points, shooting 6/11 from the field, including 5/10 from long range.

Guerschon Yabusele continues to impress for the Philadelphia 76ers since returning abroad following his departure from Real Madrid. The French forward scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals in the win over Brooklyn.

On Lonzo Ball's return night, the Chicago Bulls defeated Minnesota 125-123, with Nikola Vucevic posting a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. On the losing side, Rudy Gobert also posted a double-double; in this case the French center had 13 points and 17 rebounds.
