Disney is offering a new deal to get customers to sign up for Hulu + Live TV, just in time for the NFL season and other live sports.

Hulu offers new subscribers a three-day free trial of Hulu (with ads) + Live TV so they can test out the service. Hulu doesn't always offer a free trial of its live TV streaming platform, so you should take advantage of that.

The Hulu + Live TV subscription offers more than 90 TV channels, including local ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox channels, as well as cable channels like ESPN. It also includes Hulu's entire on-demand streaming library and features like unlimited DVR.

The streamer is one of the best online offerings and saves subscribers a lot of money by combining popular platforms into a single platform. The subscription packages in Disney+ (with ads), which normally cost $7.99/month, And ESPN+ (with ads), regular price $10.99/month.

It's such a good deal that last year Disney itself asked Charter subscribers to consider switching to Hulu + Live TV, an offer that would give them dozens of the cable channels they watch on Charter, but also some that don't currently receive them – namely Disney-owned outlets like FX, Disney Channel, ESPN and Net Geo.

Live sports and news are, of course, two of the top reasons for cord cutters to subscribe to a live TV streaming service. The promotion comes just in time for the NFL season, which began in September and ends with the Super Bowl in February. You can watch every NFL game on Hulu, which broadcasts every game live on CBS, ESPN, FOX, NBC and NFL Network.

The limited-time promotion also comes in time for college football, the NBA preseason and the WNBA Finals.

Hulu's extensive streaming library is another highlight of the platform. The streamer offers hundreds of original titles like “The Penguin,” “Only Murders in the Building,” “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” and “Tell Me Lies.” Their film offerings include newer titles like Dune 2, Anatomy of a Fall and Poor Things, as well as classics like The Sixth Sense, Superbad and the entire Planet of the Apes series.
