Derek Carr got off to an explosive start for the New Orleans Saints in a new-look offense in 2024, but he hasn't played since Week 5 due to an oblique injury.

He is doubtful to play against the Denver Broncos on Thursday night, which means Spencer Ratter will still be in the starting lineup.

When will the quarterback come back from this injury? Here's the latest we know.

Back on October 9th, Ian Rapoport said he would be out for “a few weeks” due to the oblique tear, meaning he might miss a few more games. And according to Saints Wire: “FOX Sports sideline reporter Holly Rowe shared an interesting footnote. She said the Saints reached out to Texas doctors to learn how they so effectively treated (Longhorns QB Quinn) Ewers with a similar injury.”

There you have it.
