The Polar Bear hit a three-run home run in the first inning to set the tone.

Jack Flaherty had nothing and the Dodgers preferred him to get bombed than tap their bullpen early.

After allowing two hits in seven scoreless innings in Game 1, Flaherty allowed eight runs in three innings.

Unsung hero

Ryne Stanek pitched a career-high 2 ¹/₃ innings, allowing just one run and striking out four in a game that felt much closer than his final score.
