TSSAA FOOTBALL RESULTS: Week 9 high school football scoreboard for East Tennessee

Week 9 of the Tennessee high school football season continues Friday with three weeks remaining in the 2024 regular season.

West-Anderson County was the top game of the week and lived up to that billing on Thursday with a 30-27 win for West.

Friday's top games include Central-Powell in Region 2-5A play, Cleveland-Maryville in Region 2-6A play and Oak Ridge-Bearden.

GCA wins 24-19 over Webb and it looks like the Nov. 1 game between GCA and Boyd Buchanan will be for the DII-AA East regional title.

Webb got back in the game with a 35-yard touchdown catch from Grayson Webb. PAT is no good, so GCA's lead is 21-13 late in the third quarter.

GCA leads 14-7 late in the first quarter in an eventful Division II-AA East Region matchup tonight.

  • Oak Ridge near Bearden
  • Farragut in Jefferson County

Aside from West's 30-27 win over Anderson County, Thursday's only score is: Austin-East 14, Pigeon Force 13.
