Celtic star not pictured in training as CCV returns

Celtic fans will be keeping a close eye on team news ahead of tomorrow's crucial game against Aberdeen as Greg Taylor was not visible in today's Lennoxtown training photos from SNS Group.

Taylor was ruled out injured before the international break and Brendan Rodgers admitted the left-back would not be fit until the players returned from international duty.

Should Taylor miss out, it would be a massive game for Alex Valle, who is expected to start at left-back against an Aberdeen side in top form. Valle has stepped in before, but this game against the undefeated Dons could be one of his biggest tests yet.

Johnston, meanwhile, was an injury concern at the start of the international break but played the full 90 minutes in Celtic's 3-1 win over Ross County. Despite being fit enough for this game, he was left out of the Canadian squad as a precautionary measure. He was pictured training today.

Cameron Carter-Vickers was back in training after recovering from a toe injury, which will be a huge boost for Brendan Rodgers' defense. James Forrest, who left Scotland due to injury, was also pictured in training, suggesting he could be available for selection.

Odin Holm also trained today. The midfielder has not been featured in Celtic's squad photo this season.

Celtic fans will be hoping for clarity at Brendan Rodgers' press conference later today for all the latest news.
