Chants hosts Louisiana on Saturday on ESPNU for Homecoming

The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers return to Conway for their annual homecoming game Saturday afternoon as the Chants host Louisiana. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. ET. Courtney Lyle and Rene Ingoglia will host the call on ESPNU. CCU fans can listen to the Chanticleer Sports Radio Network broadcast with Chris Burgin, Layne Harris, Joe Catenacci and Sam Weiderhaft on WRNN 99.5 FM and online at wrnn.net.

TUCKER TIME

• Wide receiver Jameson Tucker caught his third touchdown reception of the season against James Madison.

• Tucker's three touchdown catches in his first six games of 2024 match his mark of three throughout the 2023 season.

FLETCHER'S BEAUTIFUL DAY
• Security Tobias Fletcher Set a career high with 10 tackles against James Madison.

• After recording 10 tackles in the first four games of the season, Fletcher recorded 18 tackles in two games against Old Dominion and JMU.

• Coastal Carolina's defense has returned all three fumble returns for touchdowns this season.

• The Chanticleer defense has also fumbled three and ranks fifth nationally with six fumble recoveries this year.

• Henlsey needs just three more extra points made to become the fifth Chant kicker to ever reach 100 makes in his career.

• Louisiana is 5-1 and is coming off a 34-24 win over Appalachian State.

• Louisiana is currently on a three-game winning streak, its longest since 2021.

• Kicker Kenneth Almendares tied the school record for field goals made with 53.

• The Ragin' Cajuns lead the conference and rank 12th nationally in passing yards allowed per game with 162.0.

• Tight end Terrance Carter caught four passes for a career-high 107 yards against Appalachian State
