Andrew Mukuba injury update: Texas football DB injured in game against Georgia

Texas football safety Andrew Mukuba received medical attention after an apparent injury in the fourth quarter of the Longhorns' game against Georgia on Saturday.

The training staff appeared to be looking at Mukuba's left knee. He did not return to the field for Georgia's next drive.

After a break, Mukuba was able to limp off the field under his own power. He then went to the medical tent on the Longhorns sideline.

Mukuba was one of the most important players on the Texas defense after transferring from Clemson this offseason. The Austin native came up big with an interception on the Longhorns' first drive of the game. He also had five tackles and a quarterback rush.
