Rookie Report: Drake Maye is the best of a largely inactive group

LONDON – Here's a look at how the Patriots' rookies fared in Sunday's 32-16 loss to the Jaguars at Wembley Stadium:

QB Drake Maye – A mostly solid day for the third overall pick, who went 26-for-37 for 276 yards and two touchdown passes. He also ran for 18 yards on three carries. The rookie was sacked twice but did well to maintain composure behind a makeshift offensive line. There were all sorts of problems for the Patriots in all three phases of the game, but Maye's performance wasn't one of them.

WR Ja'Lynn Polk — It was another tough week for Polk, who failed to catch three goals and left the game in the second half with a head injury. (He was also unable to score a 2-point conversion.) In his last two games, he has one catch for 4 yards on seven targets.

OL Layden Robinson – Robinson, who played every snap in the first four games but was recently relegated to the reserves, was back in the starting lineup. However, the right guard suffered an ankle injury and was eventually sidelined by Sidy Sow.

WR Javon Baker — Inactive. He appeared on the injury report at the end of the week with an illness.

DB Marcellas Dial Jr. — Active. Saw time as a shooter in punt coverage but didn't register stats.

QB Joe Milton III – He served as the emergency third quarterback for the seventh consecutive season this season.

TE Jaheim Bell — Active. No statistics registered.

LB Curtis Jacobs — Active. No statistics registered.

DB Dell Pettus — Active. No statistics registered; He seemed to spend most of his work on special teams.
