Vicious anti-gay email sent to WNBA superstar Breanna Stewart's wife

An anonymous homophobe sent a vicious anti-gay email to WNBA superstar Breanna Stewart's wife, and it apparently isn't the first time, The Post has learned.

“Stewart's wife, former professional basketball player Marta I hope you both die,” said police sources, among others.

Sources added that according to an NBA security memo, the email was sent from an Internet address that has been linked to other hateful letters, including death threats, bomb threats and other racist rhetoric.

A representative for Stewart's team, the New York Liberty, did not respond to a Post request for comment.

Casademont – a 33-year-old retired player who was born in Spain and won a silver medal with the Spanish national team at the 2016 Summer Olympics – married Stewart in July 2021.

The couple has two children.
