The rest of the weekend

Thunderstorms are approaching on Monday morning

The rain will continue into Sunday and possibly even Monday. The chance of thunderstorms remains highest near the Texas-New Mexico border on Sunday, then Sunday evening and overnight into Monday, these storms are expected to move east.

Also note that rainfall totals for the weekend are quite low. By Monday, rainfall totals are expected to be between just 0.25″ and 0.50″. This is due to the fact that the main trend will be light showers and with heavy rainfall there will only be a short period of thunderstorms.
