Do I have to register to vote?

Yes, you must register to vote in Florida. You can check your registration status here.

How do I do that?

You can register online at the Florida Department of State website. You can also register by mail or in person at certain state offices. The full list of locations where you can register in person, as well as forms for registering by mail, can be found on this website.

What is the deadline?

The deadline to register to vote in Florida is Monday, October 7th.

How do I find out where my polling station is?

Can I vote by postal vote?

Yes, you can vote by mail in Florida. The deadline to request a ballot by mail is 12 days before Election Day, which falls on October 24 this year.

When is the latest I can submit my ballot?

Ballots must be received at the Returning Officer's office by 7:00 p.m. on election day.

Is there a way to track my ballot?

To find out the status of your mailed ballot, you can contact your county's elections director. Search for your local officials here.

What if I need help getting to the polling station?

Barrier-free voting is possible in person or by post. If you can't make it to your polling place during early voting or on Election Day, you can request an absentee ballot.
